She's been biting her lower lip a lot lately. Still no teeth of course, so she looks like the cartoon old man with his dentures out!

new sweater!

Thanks to "Aunt" Jessica for Mirah's new hand knit sweater! It just happened to match her rubber ducky pj's, but will of course look better with a nicer outfit. It's of a similar cotton yarn to another sweater I'm making now--one with much less to it, no lace patterns or button holes for me! I'm just happy I've figured out the general shape! Though I swear I counted right, the neckline is a little off (I refuse to rip it out and redo it, which is why I'm such a crap knitter :P) Anyhow, here's the example of a well-made baby sweater. I'll put up a photo of my not-so-well-made one if I finish it before she outgrows it!!

Three months old!

Mirah's three months old today! And she's only getting cuter! She can hold up her "bobble noggin'" pretty well now, and reach and grab at things (only actually grabbing them some of the time, but getting better all the time) And today she laughed out loud when I was changing her outfit. Sure enough, it was when I got her underarm...she's ticklish! Ridiculous cuteness continues...and Jeff snapped a photo he can put up soon.
I've gone back to work, just from home at the moment, changing to part-time in the office this Thursday and then both at home and in the office to make full-time again in February. If anybody knows good back-up babysitters around Atlanta, please let us know. We're going to try to take turns keeping her, but I'm sure there will be days we need to find somebody else.
I also am back to dancing now. Took her to class with me last week, which she watched/slept through, and Jeff kept her for rehearsal on Sunday. We're dancing to Dave Brubeck and it's good to get back to the studio, even if I'm not back in any sort of shape yet!
